Why Is it important to clean my roof?
Cleaning your roof is just as important as cleaning any surface around your home. Soft-washing your roof can increase the lifespan as it prevents the growth of moss and lichen which can dig roots into the shingles and cause it to leak prematurely. The black streaks on your roof are a form of algae known as gloeocapsa magma. The algae creates a fertile area for moss to grow. Our roof cleaning process is similar to our house washing process. We use a safe, low pressure cleaning solution that removes black streaks, algae, moss, and lichen.
What can you clean?
We are experts at cleaning almost all exterior surfaces on your home. Our most popular services are soft-house washing and gutter cleaning but we also clean roofs, patios, walkways, composite/trex decks, wood decks, all types of brick/stone, vinyl/wood fencing and more… Ask to be put on our gutter cleaning schedule!
Do I need to do anything to prepare for my appointment?
Great question! Although we try to make our process as smooth and easy as possible, we just ask for a few simple things prior to our arrival. Please make sure all doors and windows are closed, keep any pets inside, and make sure no vehicles are in the driveway. Also, if you have them, we recommend that you run your outdoor sprinklers for an hour or so before we arrive. If anything else is needed to ensure your appointment goes smoothly we will let you know upon our arrival!
