Do I need to move anything before my appointment to have my house washed?
Yes we kindly ask that all objects are pulled away from your home prior to our arrival to grant us access to the entirety of your homes exterior. If you need help moving certain objects/furniture please let us know prior to our arrival, we are happy to make arrangements within reason!
How should I prepare for a full house soft-wash?
- Please ensure that we have access to a working water source.
- Please ensure that all of your pets and children are inside and any vehicles are parked away from your home.
- Please ensure all doors and windows are closed and watertight.
Although our soft-washing process is very gentle on your home, AquaPro Pressure Washing is not responsible for any pre-existing damage to any parts of your home including your siding, trim, fascia, roofing, windows, screens, concrete, stonework, foundation, brick, tile, decks, fencing, or gutters. We will do our best to point out/document any pre-existing damage to your home that may be of concern that we notice prior to your appointment. It is the homeowners responsibility to ensure all parts of their home are watertight and are properly weatherproofed, that includes any outdoor electrical fixtures including doorbells, outlets, light fixtures, etc.
Is soft-washing safe for plants around my home?
When done correctly, soft-washing is completely safe for your plants. Soft-washing isn’t as easy as we make it seem. Soft-washing is a methodical way of effectively cleaning your home. Although it is not rocket science, soft-washing still takes skill and experience. We know exactly what chemicals to use, the strength of dilution best for each surface, how long those chemicals should dwell on each surface, and more importantly what chemicals NOT to put on certain surfaces. In most cases, a normal house wash does not require us to use a strong enough solution to have any affect on your plants. That being said, we still take all proper precautions to protect your vegetation; such as heavily watering your plants before, during, and after we apply our solution to your home. And applying our solution strategically to cause as little overspray as possible. For more sensitive plants, we will also utilize our special chemical neutralizer to neutralizer our solution before it is able to take any effect. And if necessary we will also cover your plants with thin plastic breathable tarps.
